The Young Entrepreneur Program (YEP!), a dynamic initiative developed by GIGNIUS ME, is gearing up for an inspiring Graduation and Recognition Ceremony on August 18th at Bawadi Mall. This event will not only celebrate the achievements of the inaugural batch of young entrepreneurs but also mark the exciting launch of YEP! Season 2, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly established YEP! Creations Hub.
GIGNIUS ME, a prominent event management company in the UAE known for organizing large-scale corporate and public events, created YEP! with a powerful mission: to inspire and empower the next generation of business leaders. The program aims to equip young individuals with the tools, knowledge, and life skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive world while fostering a sense of independence and responsibility.
“As a parent, I am inspired by the wish for my own kids to understand the real worth of money—not just its value, but its deeper significance,” said Ms. Marlyn Lopez, Operations Director and creator of YEP! “I want them to develop independence and be equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in life.”
Over the past two months, YEP! has provided participants with invaluable training in business planning, marketing strategies, financial literacy, and innovative thinking. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning, guiding young entrepreneurs to develop real business ideas under the mentorship of experienced coaches and industry professionals.
“This program has been a true labor of love for our team,” Ms. Marlyn shared. “We’ve seen incredible growth and creativity in our participants. This event will not only honor their hard work but also kick off a new season filled with even more opportunities for our youth.”
The August 18th event will also feature the grand opening of the YEP! Creations Hub, a dedicated space within Bawadi Mall designed to foster creativity and collaboration among young entrepreneurs. This hub will serve as a central point for innovation, offering resources and support for aspiring business minds.
As part of YEP! Season 2, the YEP! Business Competition will take place from August 18th to August 31st at the YEP! Creations Hub. The competition will showcase innovative business ideas from young entrepreneurs, providing them with a platform to present their projects to the public and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. The panel, composed of local business leaders and sponsors, will evaluate the concepts and select the most promising for recognition and potential support.
