The leaders expressed satisfaction with the rapid growth of economic and trade relations between India and the UAE, emphasizing the importance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and welcoming the signing of the Bilateral Investment Treaty. PM Modi also expressed his appreciation for the UAE’s support in granting land for an Indian Community Hospital in Dubai, which will provide affordable healthcare facilities for Indian blue-collar workers.
PM Modi extended an invitation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to visit India at his earliest convenience, further strengthening bilateral ties. PM Modi’s two-day official visit to the UAE included attending various programs aimed at enhancing bilateral relations. He addressed the World Governments Summit in Dubai and inaugurated the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi. PM Modi also held bilateral meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and addressed the Indian diaspora during the ‘Ahlan Modi’ event in Abu Dhabi. He expressed gratitude to the UAE government and people for their warm hospitality during his visit.
At the airport, PM Modi received a warm send-off from UAE Deputy Prime Minister Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, marking the successful conclusion of his visit and further strengthening the India-UAE partnership.
