The UAE Vice President presents a personalized copy of a book along with a message to Prime Minister Modi.

During their bilateral meeting in Dubai on Wednesday, UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum presented a personalized copy of his book “My Story” and a heartfelt message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi expressed confidence that future generations would draw inspiration from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s work, praising his remarkable dedication to Dubai’s growth and his visionary perspective on global issues.

In a gracious gesture, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s message to PM Modi reflected on the past 50 years as a journey of valuable experiences and reflections. PM Modi took to social media to express his gratitude, stating that he would cherish this gesture always. He emphasized how Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s life and work would inspire future generations and commended his remarkable dedication to Dubai’s development and his visionary approach towards global challenges.

During their meeting, PM Modi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum engaged in extensive discussions covering various areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment, technology, space, and education. They also recognized the significant contributions of the Indian diaspora to Dubai’s transformation into a global trade, services, and tourism hub.

The leaders expressed satisfaction with the rapid growth of economic and trade relations between India and the UAE, emphasizing the importance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and welcoming the signing of the Bilateral Investment Treaty. PM Modi also expressed his appreciation for the UAE’s support in granting land for an Indian Community Hospital in Dubai, which will provide affordable healthcare facilities for Indian blue-collar workers.

PM Modi extended an invitation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to visit India at his earliest convenience, further strengthening bilateral ties. He also praised Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision for Dubai’s growth, highlighting their discussions on enhancing commerce, connectivity, and people-to-people linkages.

PM Modi’s two-day official visit to the UAE included attending various programs aimed at enhancing bilateral relations. He addressed the World Governments Summit in Dubai and inaugurated the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi. PM Modi also held bilateral meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and addressed the Indian diaspora during the ‘Ahlan Modi’ event in Abu Dhabi. He expressed gratitude to the UAE government and people for their warm hospitality during his visit.

At the airport, PM Modi received a warm send-off from UAE Deputy Prime Minister Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, marking the successful conclusion of his visit and further strengthening the India-UAE partnership.
