Religious leaders from around the world have praised the UAE’s Abrahamic Family House as a model of coexistence and a step towards a more peaceful world. The facility, which features a mosque, church, and synagogue, will open its doors on March 1 for visitors.

Religious leaders from the UAE, as well as representatives from the Vatican and the Chief Rabbi of the UK, have praised the facility as a symbol of tolerance and unity. Pope Francis, the head of the Roman Catholic Church, has also hailed the Abrahamic Family House as a “human fraternity oasis”. In a video message released ahead of the facility’s opening, the Pope expressed his hope that the project will be a beacon of light and a source of inspiration for people of all faiths.

“The centre will be a platform for learning and dialogue, a model of coexistence set against the backdrop of the multiculturalism and diversity of our nation, where more than 200 nationalities live peacefully side-by-side. We hope that the Abrahamic Family House will inspire youth everywhere, as we highlight our common humanity and work towards the creation of a more peaceful world for generations to come,” Al Mubarak noted.
