Ramadan in UAE: 280,00 Iftar meals distributed to motorists by Dubai Police

Dubai Police and their partners have stepped up to the plate during the holy month of Ramadan, distributing a whopping 280,000 Iftar meals to drivers in need over the course of 15 days. Brig. Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of Al Barsha Police Station, announced that the Dubai Police Council for Directors of Police Stations has been working in conjunction with partners to carry out this initiative called “Takaatuf”.

The Iftar meals are being distributed at 18 different locations daily, with the help of 458 volunteers – both male and female.
