Flydubai introduces 4 additional destinations to its UAE flight routes.

On Thursday, Dubai-based carrier Flydubai unveiled the launch of four new services, expanding its European network to 43 destinations across 21 countries.

With the introduction of direct flights to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg starting from August 2, Flydubai becomes the first UAE national carrier to operate this route. This announcement also marks the airline’s debut in the Baltic region, with direct flights to Riga International Airport in Latvia commencing on October 11, followed by services to Tallinn Airport in Estonia and Vilnius International Airport in Lithuania from October 12.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at Flydubai, expressed pride in the expansion of the airline’s network, stating, “We are proud to see our network grow bigger than ever with the new route launches.” He emphasized that Flydubai has created a diverse network of 126 destinations, with 60% of them previously having limited or no connections to Dubai. The addition of services to the Baltic region and Basel aims to facilitate convenient travel through Dubai’s aviation hub, providing travelers with options to visit Dubai or connect seamlessly to Flydubai’s extensive network or other destinations through its codeshare partner, Emirates.

These flights will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International (DXB), with Emirates codesharing on these routes, offering passengers enhanced connectivity options through Dubai’s international aviation hub.
