James Gunn to Direct ‘Superman: Legacy’

James Gunn, the co-head of DC Studios, has announced that he will be directing the upcoming superhero film Superman: Legacy. Gunn has been working on the script for the movie since before he took on his current position at DC. Gunn has now confirmed that he will be taking on the directorial duties for Superman: Legacy.

James Gunn, the director behind the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, is set to helm the upcoming Superman movie, “Superman: Legacy”. The news was announced on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, by Warner Bros. and DC Films.

Gunn is no stranger to the superhero genre, having directed two hugely successful Guardians of the Galaxy films for Marvel Studios. He also wrote and directed the recent DC film “The Suicide Squad”, which was both a critical and commercial success.
