IFZA Unveils Collaboration with German Federal Association for Small and Medium Enterprises.

Dubai: In a strategic maneuver aimed at enhancing bilateral business connections between the UAE and Germany, the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) has forged a partnership with the Bundesverband Mittelstandische Wirtschaft e.V (BVMW), the German Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses. Serving as the official representative of BVMW in Dubai, IFZA will establish an office in the city to assist the growing number of German enterprises establishing their presence in Dubai. How Does This Collaboration Benefit Dubai?
This collaboration represents a crucial stride in IFZA’s strategy to bolster the Dubai Government initiative D33 by attracting international businesses to Dubai and stimulating economic growth. Through this partnership, IFZA has positioned itself as the preferred destination for German businesses seeking to expand and globalize in the UAE, focusing on facilitating opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) between Germany and the UAE.

“IFZA has a remarkable track record of effectively serving the German business community, and we are excited to join forces with BVMW’s alliance here in Dubai. Our strategic collaboration with BVMW is integral to IFZA’s evolution into the go-to solution for German businesses seeking expansion in Dubai and beyond. We provide comprehensive solutions for German SMEs aiming to grow their presence in Dubai, and we believe our partnership with BVMW underscores Dubai’s status as the thriving business and investment hub of the region. We are thrilled to further support German SMEs in pursuing their business growth aspirations from Dubai to the global stage,” remarked Jochen Knecht, CEO at IFZA. Germany’s Influence in Dubai
With a presence of at least 1,200 German companies and over 30,000 German residents in the UAE, Germany has consistently been a pivotal market for IFZA, owing to the vibrant exchange between the two countries. Acknowledging the significance of nurturing this relationship, IFZA has taken proactive measures to target new business segments in the country and recently welcomed EMAG as one of the many German companies seeking IFZA’s support for their business setup in Dubai.

About IFZA’s collaboration with BVMW, Christoph Ahlhaus, Chairman of BVMW, commented, “Small and medium-sized enterprises form the backbone of Germany and its regions. To achieve international success, SMEs require reliable and well-founded support.”

BVMW’s presence at IFZA’s premises will facilitate connecting its members with the UAE market and serve as a hub for linking German businesses with potential partners across the region.
