UAE Team ADQ takes great pride in announcing their extraordinary achievements and successes during the first six months of the 2023 season. The team has demonstrated outstanding performance on the international stage, securing ten victories, multiple podium finishes, and showcasing the exceptional talents of their riders.

Leading the way for UAE Team ADQ in the early months of the season were Chiara Consonni and Eleonora Gasparrini. Consonni achieved a remarkable victory in the final stage of the Giro Donne, while Erica Magnaldi and Silvia Persico delivered strong performances, finishing 5th and 8th respectively in the General Classification. This exceptional result elevated UAE Team ADQ as a standout team with two riders in the Top 10.

In regional and global elite events, UAE Team ADQ continued to enjoy remarkable success:

  • Safiya Alsayegh, the first Emirati-Arab athlete in the UCI Women’s World Tour, successfully defended her national titles in both the Road and ITT disciplines.
  • Lizzie Holden triumphed and was crowned the new ITT British National Champion.
  • Gasparrini achieved her first World Tour Gold during the Tour de Suisse Women.
  • Marta Bastianelli secured victories in Le Samyn des Dames and a stage in the Elsy Jacobs Festival, while Olivia Baril emerged victorious at the Gran Premio Eibar.
  • Silvia Persico claimed a silver medal, and Chiara Consonni delivered an exceptional performance on the track in Italy, winning the momentous final stage of the iconic race. Persico also triumphed at De Brabantse Pijl, adding her name to the list of honorees in this classic race.
  • Eugenia Bujak earned a well-deserved bronze medal in the ITT event in Slovenia.

In addition to these impressive individual achievements, the team showcased its strength through notable podium finishes. Erica Magnaldi and Silvia Persico secured second and third places, respectively, in the final mountain stage of the Vuelta a Burgos. Persico also achieved podium finishes and displayed a strong performance at the UAE Tour Women, where the team was recognized as the best team. Chiara Consonni secured second place at the Dwars door Vlaanderen, and Marta Bastianelli achieved a well-deserved third place at the Classic Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Silvia Persico and Olivia Baril had commendable fourth-place finishes at the Tour of Flanders and Itzulia Women, respectively.
