UAE Set to Unveil Enhanced Al Hosn App Featuring Children’s Vaccination Records

In a proactive move aimed at promoting public health, the UAE health authorities are launching an upgraded version of the Al Hosn app, set to be unveiled on September 13th in Dubai. This enhanced version of the app will provide seamless digital access to children’s vaccination records, signifying a pivotal step towards bolstering preventive measures against communicable diseases while harnessing the latest advancements in digital technology to support healthcare initiatives.

The forthcoming update to the Al Hosn application, hosted on the national cloud, is the result of a collaborative effort with the “Riayati” digital platform, an integral component of the National Unified Medical Record (NUMR). This comprehensive update promises a wide array of digital solutions designed to empower families to monitor their children’s vaccination status with convenience and ease. Additionally, it ensures that users have access to accurate and reliable information, thanks to the concerted efforts between the Ministry of Health and local health authorities.

Dr. Hussain Al Rand, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health at the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), highlighted the significance of this recent update to the Al Hosn app, underscoring its role as a pivotal milestone in the UAE’s healthcare sector’s smart transformation journey. The updated app now provides simplified access to children’s vaccination records encompassed in the National Immunization Programme.
