The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, recently met with the country’s ambassadors participating in the annual Ambassadors’ Forum. The forum, which was held in Abu Dhabi, brought together the UAE’s ambassadors from around the world to discuss the nation’s foreign policy and its diplomatic relations with other countries.

During the meeting, President Al Nahyan emphasized the important role that ambassadors play in promoting the UAE’s image and interests abroad. He also stressed the need for ambassadors to stay informed about the latest developments in their host countries and to work closely with the UAE’s foreign ministry to strengthen diplomatic ties.

The President also discussed the UAE’s ongoing efforts to support regional and international peace and stability, as well as its commitment to promoting economic growth and development in the region. He highlighted the country’s role as a leader in renewable energy and space exploration, and stressed the importance of strengthening the UAE’s partnerships with other nations in these fields.

During the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Bahr, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Emirati diplomats and highlighted the critical role they play in showcasing the UAE and its values abroad.

He praised their efforts to serve their country and its people by strengthening relations with other nations and building strategic partnerships.

The Ambassadors’ Forum is held annually and provides a platform for the country’s ambassadors to exchange ideas and best practices, as well as to receive guidance and support from the government. The forum is a testament to the UAE’s commitment to promoting diplomacy and strengthening its relationships with other nations.

The Forum runs till Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi, and includes more than 25 sessions attended by a number of ministers, senior officials, ambassadors and heads of departments at the ministry, as well as representatives of other government authorities.

The event’s agenda covers political, economic, academic, scientific and technological issues in addition to climate action.
