The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has recently signed two agreements aimed at enhancing medical services for Syrians affected by various crises. These agreements were inked with the International Society for the Care of Victims of Wars and Disasters during the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum. Under the first agreement, a mobile clinic system will be launched to provide aid to those affected by the Syrian earthquake. This initiative will set up around 20 clinics stocked with essential medical and surgical supplies, as well as infant formula, which will benefit over 200,000 people.

The second agreement aims to provide healthcare, psychological, social, and nutritional support to 100,000 Syrian refugees in Lebanon. KSRelief and a Syrian refugee charity will collaborate to deliver the services to the beneficiaries. The initiative will address the healthcare needs of Syrian refugees, who have fled their country due to the ongoing conflict and have been residing in Lebanon as refugees.

KSRelief’s humanitarian efforts to support those in need, whether in Saudi Arabia or abroad, have been commendable. The mobile clinic system is a much-needed service, particularly for those affected by natural disasters, who often struggle to access medical care. The initiative will bring much-needed relief to those impacted by the Syrian earthquake. Similarly, the healthcare support for Syrian refugees in Lebanon will help alleviate their suffering and provide them with essential medical assistance.

More than 200,000 people are anticipated to benefit from the first agreement which will initiate the establishment of a mobile clinic system for those impacted by the earthquake in Syria. Twenty clinics will be provided with infant formula in addition to medical and surgical supplies.

KSrelief and the Syrian refugee organization also signed a second agreement that would offer 100,000 Syrian refugees living in Lebanon medical care as well as social, emotional, and nutritional support. The agreement is part of KSrelief’s continued efforts to provide aid to the Syrian refugees, improve Lebanon’s healthcare system, and help the needy in the country.

The Al-Amal Medical Center here in the Lebanese Bekaa Governorate continues to provide medical services, with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), as part of a project to strengthen health services for Syrian refugees and the host community in Arsal.

The clinics received 4,575 patients last May, and 8,123 free health services in various specialized clinic departments, in addition to laboratories, pharmacy and other nursing services were provided. The center followed the necessary procedures and precautions in light of the spread of COVID-19.

The patients expressed their deep gratitude for the various humanitarian services provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to the refugees and the host community.

The signing of these agreements is a testament to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s commitment to providing aid and support to those in need, regardless of their geographical location or political affiliations. The center’s efforts have made a significant difference in the lives of millions of people affected by various crises worldwide. By delivering essential services and assistance to the most vulnerable communities, KSRelief has set a high standard in humanitarian relief efforts. It is hoped that other organizations and countries will follow suit and contribute to global efforts to alleviate human suffering.
