The Jumeirah Mosque is a beautiful mosque located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is considered one of the most beautiful and iconic mosques in Dubai and is a popular tourist attraction. The mosque was built in the medieval Fatimid tradition, with towering minarets, intricate carvings and beautiful geometric patterns.

The mosque was constructed between 1975 and 1979. The palace was designed and built in the traditions of the Fatimids of the Middle Ages, using the most modern construction materials, with the help of Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. It can accommodate up to 1,300 worshippers and has a beautiful courtyard, surrounded by beautiful palm trees.

The mosque is open to visitors of all faiths, and tours are conducted daily except on Fridays. Visitors are provided with an insight into Islamic culture and traditions, and a deeper understanding of the Muslim faith. The Jumeirah Mosque is a popular destination for photographers and tourists, and it is often lit up at night, making it a beautiful sight to behold. The mosque is also an important landmark in Dubai and a symbol of the city’s rich cultural heritage. The Jumeirah Mosque journey starts at the majlis, the customary sitting space in an Emirati home, where tourists must register 30 minutes before the tour begins.

The Jumeirah Mosque is not only famous for its beautiful architecture, but it is also one of the few mosques in the UAE that offers tours to non-Muslim visitors. The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding organizes these visits with a ‘Open Doors, Open Minds’ policy.
