The Intersection of Sport, Art, and Business Discussion Peggy Sefolosha
A Journey Towards Unity and Purpose As the Presidential Head of the Humanitarian and Charity Equality and Peace Affairs for Global Union and its Permanent Mission, as well as the President of the Sillage Association and Mother, I am delighted to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2025.
In my role as CEO of Hybrid Metaverse X Consulting, I have the unique opportunity to explore the vital connections between sport, art, and business. This article aims to present an original perspective that intertwines these elements, reflecting on my literary background in France and my continuous engagement in the artistic domain. In today’s fast-paced world, we all need moments to breathe, to reconnect with our deeper selves. For some, this reconnection comes through sport; for others, it is through art. In my humanitarian efforts, these two pillars are of utmost importance. We are currently in a unique artistic period where time is multidimensional. We must learn to combine various elements, gaining hands-on experience to address concrete issues and offer original visions. In recent years, we have witnessed a surge in collaborative artistic works, with many exiled artists seeking to express themselves. Furthermore, innovation plays an increasingly significant role in today’s art world. The techniques and knowledge associated with this new realm are often closely guarded secrets. I have been working on a project for a year, navigating a lengthy creative process. This is not only due to my global agenda limiting the time I can dedicate to my passion but also because the research work knows no geographical boundaries. It is truly exciting to be part of this era and to contribute within this framework. There are no coincidences in life; every person we encounter holds significance. I have been fortunate to meet many inspiring individuals along the way. Today, everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the “Life of Purpose Unity” through www.sillage-association.com movement, determined to reach our full potential in our respective fields. Dylan Mboumbouni is one of the first professional athletes to contribute to the inaugural
campaign of the Sillage Association, and Eliam, an artist and member of the Sillage Association, French VIP DJ Rawdolff, Basketball player Kevin Keliki, and Camp Thabo Sefolosha at time it was active 2019 and Super star soccer player Trésor Lualua has also stepped forward to support this initiative.
“Life of Purpose Unity” was born from the desire to operate for peace in the Congo with Sillage Association 679 people from USA EU UAE AFRICA ASIA have signed the call for peace letter, but the movement encompasses so much more than this conflict. In the near future, as our team grows, many more individuals will join us Rwandese and Congolese Palestinian and Israelian, South Sudanese and Sudanese in the pursuit of peacefull sustainable economic and humanitarian development.
In that perspective I am currently seeking a prestigious gallery in the UAE, USA, AFRICA to showcase my upcoming art exhibition, HYBRIDMETAVERSE X ART named “Expodentiel,” which aims to explore innovative concepts and engage audiences in meaningful dialogue.
The groundwork has been laid for over four years, and those who stand with us are bound to go far. I invite you to discover the insights shared in the interviews with Dylan Mboumbouni and Eliam. Together, we can foster a deeper understanding of the connections between sport, art, and business, paving the way for unity and purpose in our world.
Now let me introduce to you the professional soccer player M. Dylan Mbounbouni How did your career begin?
I started playing soccer in my neighborhood just down the street from my apartment building, like any neighborhood kid. Then my parents enrolled me in a club just across the street from where I lived, called Les Cheminot de Saint Priest. I played there for 3 years, from the beginners’ 1st year to the juniors’ 1st year. During my 1st year as a youngster, I was spotted by the big club in the region, Olympique Lyonnais, and I tried out for them and was selected to play for them the following season. So I joined Olympique Lyonnais and, thanks to my talent, hard work and, of course, a bit of luck, I managed to get a professional contract. After a few years with Olympique Lyonnais, I played for So Cholet, then had the opportunity to play abroad in Norway for FK Jerv and in Romania for CS Mioveni.
What is the best souvenir from your career?
The highlights of my career are of course the signing of my first pro contract, my first cap for the Central African A team and my first minutes as a professional player, but I think my best career memory is seeing the satisfaction and pride in my parents’ eyes when they
see me play.
What is your current program for 2025?
I am currently looking for a club, so my main focus is to work as much as possible to be the best and find a team so I can continue to move to the next level in other areas like England, UAE PSG and of course continue to enjoy myself.
What is your routine before a match?
Before an important match, I prepare as simply as possible, listening to music or on the phone with my parents, my little brother or my best friend Andy, telling jokes and so on… I think this takes some of the pressure off.
What is your best advice to young players watching you?
I think the essential qualities of a footballer are hard work, you have to love to work, love to suffer and of course listen to your coaches and never forget the notion of pleasure. I think I need to improve in every aspect, because there’s no age limit for continuing to improve.
Did you have an inspirational role model to look at when things get harder in your life?
I don’t really have any inspirational players; the only people in my life who inspire me are my parents, because of where they come from and what they’ve achieved.
What challenges have you faced so far?
My biggest challenges I’ve had to face are injuries, operations… You always wonder if you’ll ever get back to your level and so on… But thanks to the support of my family and friends, and of course my ability to want to come back stronger, I’ve been able to overcome them.
As a public figure invited to take part in fashion shows in Paris and play soccer all over the world, how do you keep your feet on the ground?
I am a very simple man. My interests outside soccer are watching TV series, walking with my dog, spending time with my family and relaxing, taking care of my body and shopping because I love fashion.

Can you tell us about your artistic journey and what inspired you to merge painting, dance and music in your work?
Like many other children, my childhood was marked by happy memories, dreams, a colorful and innocent life. My artistic journey has been shaped by my passion for expression in all its forms. I have always been fascinated by the way different artistic disciplines can
communicate with each other, create emotions and tell stories.
I started with painting, which offered me an intimate and
introspective way to express my emotions and my visions of the world. Very quickly, dance became an obvious choice, a way to embody these emotions physically, to add movement to what was frozen on the canvas. Finally,
music came as a sound canvas that connects everything, transforming each work into a multi-sensory experience. My inspiration for fusion comes from a discipline, in the idea that art
should not be limited to a single medium.
My inspiration for fusion comes from a discipline, in the idea that art should not be limited to a single medium.
My goal is to immerse the viewer in a total immersion. When I create,I want everyone to feel a painting as a heartbeat, see a dance as an extension of brushstrokes, It is a path where I always seek to innovate, to mix these disciplines to
tell new, richer and more universal stories. It is this quest that continues to guide me every day in my artistic practice.
– What personal or cultural experiences have marked your artistic path?
My personal experience that marked me was with my painting collaboration with Hennessy…as part of the Hennessy In the paint project.
How do your works, such as the recently unveiled mural, reflect your vision of reviving African culture?
For me, African art is not limited to Africa. It speaks to the human condition, resilience, joy, and connection to the earth.
My vision through this mural was to convey a universal message:
“our culture can inspire, teach, and integrate with the world while remaining true to its origins”
– What specific elements of African culture do you integrate into your creations?
Quite often masks. Because for me masks occupy a central place
in African art, where they are not only aesthetic objects, but also powerful symbols of spirituality, culture and identity.
They are also used during religious ceremonies, rituals and festivals, often embodying spirits, ancestors or natural forces.
Each mask tells a unique story, linked to the community that created it,
and reflects values such as fertility, protection or wisdom.
– How do you perceive the role of art in the preservation and promotion of this culture?
Here art plays a fundamental role in the preservation and promotion of African culture by being both a living heritage and a vector of transmission. It immortalizes the stories, traditions and values that define African identity, while adapting to modern developments
to remain relevant and accessible. Art is a collective memory, art acts as a bridge between the past and
the future, ensuring the sustainability of African culture while projecting it on the global scene.
The support of influential personalities like Joakim Noah, Innoss’B and Peggy Sefolosha is invaluable to me.
Their involvement gives international legitimacy and visibility to my projects. Joakim Noah, through his status as an NBA player. Innoss’B, as a global ambassador of Congolese music, and Mrs. Peggy
Sefolosha CEO of Hybridmetaverse X and philanthropist, is opening a new door for my personal branding and management, she echoes my artistic approach.
Their support gives additional strength to my vision and helps to advance it
on a much larger scale, while honoring our common roots and our desire to share these riches with the world.
What awards have you received and how have they influenced your career?
During my career, I have won several awards and received Recognitions, whether from organizations such as UNDP and USAID, or from local businesses.
This influenced my artistic vision. I quickly understood that I
Could put my art at the service of society and, above all, Raise awareness among vulnerable people around the world. UNDP, 2015 under the theme of gifted child.
USAID DRC 2024 Under themes such as biodiversity conservation,
education, economic growth, humanitarian aid, governance, peace & security, etc.
– How do you envision the evolution of cultural exchange through art?
My art will be like a universal bridge, facilitating dialogue between cultures while preserving local identities.
