Shurooq introduces “Ajwan,” a luxurious residential project on Khorfakkan’s eastern coast.

Shurooq, the Sharjah Development and Investment Authority, has made a significant announcement at the ongoing Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition (ACRES 2023) by introducing Ajwan, a luxurious residential project located on the eastern coast of Khorfakkan. This prestigious development aims to offer high-end living inspired by nature’s beauty, with a unique waterfront setting and the inclusion of the region’s first waterpark, presenting exciting investment opportunities in Khorfakkan.

Named Ajwan – Khorfakkan Residence, the visionary project by Shurooq takes inspiration from the stunning topography of Khorfakkan, nestled between the majestic Khorfakkan mountain range and the pristine Gulf of Oman. It aspires to create a thriving environment for families, communities, commerce, and tourism in this charming coastal town renowned for its natural diversity.

Ajwan is a plural form of the Arabic word “جون” (Jawn), which signifies a small bay or body of water, symbolizing the project’s unique location. Spanning across a reclaimed plot of 65,269 square meters along the shore, surrounded by a port, beach, and mountainous landscape, Ajwan integrates luxurious housing and exceptional amenities, including the thrilling waterpark with slides and water sports, swimming pools, open beach access, and public facilities.

The development comprises six residential buildings, housing a remarkable collection of 184 residences. The residences range from spacious 2, 3, and 4-bedroom apartments to indulgent 3 and 4-bedroom duplex residences. The saleable area of these units varies from 124 square meters to 417 square meters.

The architectural design of the residential buildings features terraces on each level, elevated above a state-of-the-art podium and expansive retail space. This design allows residents to enjoy maximum panoramic views inspired by the fluidity and forms of the coastal conditions, including the landforms and the sea.

During ACRES 2023, Shurooq showcased a captivating digital simulation of the entire development, providing visitors with an interactive experience that brought the project’s spaces, facilities, and offerings to life. The simulation offered comprehensive insights into apartment layouts, sizes, and the amenities available in each apartment type.

The podium level of Ajwan features a diverse range of amenities suitable for all ages. From lap pools and kids’ pools to play areas, the podium offers an appealing living space with captivating water views.

Ajwan is located within a secure gated community in close proximity to Khorfakkan beach, just a 5-minute drive from the town’s iconic amphitheater and waterfalls. It is conveniently situated three minutes away from the renowned Al Rabi hiking trail and approximately an hour’s drive from Sharjah International Airport.
