RAKEZ showcases the extensive business opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah to Chinese investors

A high-level delegation from Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has recently returned from a successful trip to China, where they engaged with numerous investors in five major cities, highlighting the exceptional benefits of expanding businesses to Ras Al Khaimah.

The RAKEZ team had productive interactions with prominent Chinese business owners representing various sectors, including master developers, leading business and science parks, information technology, electronics, engineering, and automotive companies.

China, with a diplomatic relationship dating back to 1984, has become the UAE’s largest non-oil trading partner. As both nations aim to boost bilateral trade to USD 200 billion by 2030, Chinese investors are presented with a prime opportunity to explore business avenues in the rapidly growing economy of the UAE.

During their extensive tour, the RAKEZ delegation visited strategic cities such as Shanghai, Suzhou, Qingdao, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Foshan, and Zhuhai. They effectively showcased the diverse investment opportunities available in Ras Al Khaimah while providing a comprehensive overview of its thriving economy.

Currently, RAKEZ is already home to nearly 200 Chinese companies, including SMEs and industrial entities, operating in various sectors such as equipment manufacturing, lighting solutions, medicine, wool, machinery, packaging materials, recycling, education, e-commerce, general trading, and a wide range of commercial services.

Among the prominent Chinese companies already part of the RAKEZ community are Winbo Phoenix, an e-gaming company; Maxtron Show Lighting, a lighting solution provider; Mohamed Plastic Waste Recycling, a recycler; Good Luck Foam Factory, a furniture manufacturer; Zul Energy Middle East, a chemical producer; and Nova Machinery, an appliances producer.

With its diverse range of sectors, the RAKEZ team had fruitful interactions with prominent Chinese business owners, including master developers, leading business and science parks, information technology, electronics, engineering, and automotive companies.

China and the UAE have enjoyed a strong diplomatic relationship for 39 years, dating back to 1984. China has emerged as the UAE’s largest non-oil trading partner, and both countries are working towards boosting bilateral trade to USD 200 billion by 2030. This presents a golden opportunity for Chinese investors to explore the thriving economy of the UAE and consider Ras Al Khaimah as an ideal business destination.
