Her career included positions at Emirates Foundation and twofour54, where she effectively applied her skills and expertise in Business Growth, Marketing, Media & Communications. Khawla also served as an independent consultant, facilitating partnerships and market access between businesses in the UAE and the United States, all while based in Washington DC.

Khawla’s educational background is equally impressive. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business from Georgetown University in Washington DC, a testament to her commitment to continuous learning and expanding her horizons. Her journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Media & Communication Sciences from Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, laying the foundation for her future endeavours.

Recognizing her remarkable contributions, Khawla was honoured with the Emirati Women Achiever Award from New York University-Abu Dhabi, a testament to her dedication and impact in the field of mental health and beyond.
