FieldWeb Targets $2 Million Revenue as It Focuses on SMEs; Application is Growing at 45% Month-on-Month

FieldWeb, a Field Services Management (FSM) application developed by CoreField Technologies, is witnessing rapid growth at 45 per cent month-on-month. The application is designed primarily for small and medium businesses (SMBs) and aims to offer an affordable, user-friendly solution with multilanguage support, accessible on all mobile devices, even with low network configurations.

Amit Dhawan, founder and director of FieldWeb, shared the company’s vision in an interview with Khaleej Times. “Our vision is to build a vertical SaaS ecosystem for the field services industry. We are bringing about a change by digitising the way all small and medium businesses in the Field Services industry manage, generate leads, market, sell, recruit, finance, invoice, get paid, and organise their businesses,” he said. “Looking at the current scenario and the response of our target customers, we are aiming for $2 million in annual recurring revenue of total turnover in the next financial year.”

FieldWeb offers a comprehensive set of features, including real-time task scheduling, annual maintenance contract management, accounts management, asset management, customer relationship management, income and expense management, a customer app, and report generation. These features enable business owners to efficiently track and manage their field operations, ensuring smooth operations and optimizing field services.

The application’s target audience includes field business owners whose technicians provide services at customer locations. Industries such as HVAC, AC Services, RO Purifiers, CCTV & Security, Printer Repair, among others, can benefit from FieldWeb’s capabilities. Currently, the company is focusing on the Indian and Gulf markets, with plans to expand to other regions, including the Indian sub-continent, the USA, Canada, the UK, and Southeast Asia in the coming years.

The Field Services Management (FSM) industry is witnessing several trends that are shaping its landscape. Dhawan highlighted some of the latest trends in the industry:

  1. Mobile Field Service: There is a growing shift towards mobile solutions, allowing technicians to access information, update job statuses, and communicate with the back office in real-time using smartphones and tablets.
  2. IoT and Connected Devices: The Internet of Things (IoT) is integrating connected devices and sensors into FSM, enabling proactive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and predictive analytics.
  3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML): AI and ML technologies are optimizing field service operations by automating scheduling, predicting equipment failures, and providing intelligent recommendations for technicians.
  4. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR): AR and VR are being used for remote assistance, virtual training, and interactive visualizations in field service, enhancing troubleshooting and improving customer experience.
  5. Data Analytics and Predictive Maintenance: The abundance of data generated in FSM operations is being leveraged for data analytics and predictive maintenance, optimizing maintenance schedules and improving asset performance.

With these trends driving the industry’s evolution, FieldWeb’s focus on SMBs and its robust feature set position it as a promising player in the field services management space. As the application continues to gain traction and expand its market presence, it aims to empower SMBs to streamline their field operations, drive efficiency, and achieve sustainable growth in the competitive landscape.
