Ann Mary Joseph, a 13-year-old student at The Indian High School in Dubai, is a high achiever and a published author. Her first comic book, “Sam and Sara’s First Adventure,” was published in 2018 when she was just eight years old after winning the Superkidz Competition organized by the local Beat Diabetes initiative. In 2021, she contributed to an anthology of stories titled “Elemental Magic,” which is available on Amazon. Ann’s book is about two children who start out being lazy but with the help of a robot friend and their own journey in fitness and other activities, they realize that health is wealth.

Ann is also a recipient of the Sheikh Hamdan Award for Distinguished Students and a regular winner at the InterContinental Spelling Bee and MaRRs International Spelling Bee Championships. Ann is an academic as well as an all-round achiever. At the ongoing Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival, Ann is making her presence felt by sharing her unique achievements and inspiring her peers. Ann Mary Joseph has won various awards in different fields, such as the Best Demonstration Award in the MakeX Spark Global Competition for her creation, Project mCurador, and several awards in Model United Nations Conferences. Ann is also a regular contributor to children’s magazines and excels in Trinity College London exams for electronic keyboards. 

Currently, Ann is working on a poetry collection, and her aim is to get it published later this year, with more than 30 poems. Ann is an all-rounder and an academic achiever who also loves playing the keyboard, dancing, and coding. Her most recent interest is in Swift, and she is looking forward to publishing her second book. Ann has won numerous awards and prizes, such as the Bronze Award in the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Ignite Minds Award 2020 Scholarship examination and the third prize in the Rajbhasha Utsav (2020) for a short film about Mahatma Gandhi. 

Ann is a creative individual who unleashes her creativity through stories, poems, and artworks meant to inspire. She is also interested in public speaking, debating, anchoring, and updating her personal blog to express her views. In addition, she cares for the environment and is an active volunteer for social causes. Despite her numerous achievements, Ann remains humble, bold, honest, inspiring, confident, and imaginative. She believes in nurturing the reading habit and sharing one’s talents as much as possible. 

Ann is an active and responsible member of the school Student Council, having held the position of Sub Junior Head Girl in Grade 6. She has been excelling in Trinity College London exams for Electronic Keyboard, continuously achieving distinctions, with a score of 94 in Grade 3, taking part in Model United Nations Conferences, and winning awards such as the Best Delegate Award (UNODC, IHSMUN’21), Diplomacy Award (UNHCR, ROMUN 2020), and Outstanding Delegate (ECOSOC, Imprint MUN 2.0). Her enthusiasm for trying new things has led her to explore competitions and online social media platforms, where she has won various awards and accolades. 

It’s clear that Ann Mary Joseph possesses immense potential and is truly dedicated to building a more intelligent world. What is particularly impressive about Ann is her ability to excel in a variety of fields. Ann’s potential is unmistakable, and her dedication to building a more intelligent world is commendable. With her impressive abilities, there’s no question that she’ll keep reaching new heights and motivating those around her.
