This holiday season, over 110,000 travelers will take to the skies between six major cities! With so many people ready to celebrate with friends and family across long distances, it’s sure to be a joyous time for all.

Emirates, the Dubai-based airline, has announced that it will increase its flight services across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Middle East region ahead of the Eid Al Fitr celebrations. The airline will offer additional flights and enhanced connectivity to cater to the expected surge in demand for air travel during the festive period.

The increase in flights comes as many countries in the region have relaxed their travel restrictions and allowed vaccinated individuals to travel without quarantine requirements. This has led to a significant increase in demand for air travel, particularly during the Eid Al Fitr celebrations, which mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Emirates has announced that it will offer additional flights to several destinations in the GCC, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Medina in Saudi Arabia, as well as Kuwait City and Muscat. The airline will also increase its services to several destinations in the Middle East region, including Amman, Beirut, Cairo, and Tehran.

In addition to the increased number of flights, Emirates has also introduced new services to enhance connectivity for its customers. The airline has launched a new service between Dubai and Tel Aviv, which will operate four times a week, providing a convenient option for travelers looking to visit Israel during the Eid holidays.

Commenting on the increased flight services, Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer said, “As travel restrictions ease across the region, we are seeing a significant increase in demand for air travel, particularly during the Eid Al Fitr celebrations. We are pleased to offer additional flights and enhanced connectivity to our customers during this festive period.”

Kazim added that Emirates was committed to providing its customers with safe and convenient travel options and was working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure that all necessary health and safety measures were in place. He said that the airline is constantly reviewing and updating its operations in line with market demand and government directives. “Emirates has also implemented additional measures to ensure the well-being of our customers and crew, such as mandating face masks, providing hand sanitisers on board, and increasing aircraft cleaning cycles,” he added.

The announcement of the increased flight services has been welcomed by travelers who had been concerned about the availability of flights during the Eid Al Fitr celebrations. The enhanced connectivity will make it easier for people to travel to their hometowns and spend time with their families during the festive period. The airline is also offering special fares to ensure that travelers can get the most out of their holiday. With increased flight services, travelers can look forward to a smoother and more comfortable journey as well as improved options when taking a break from their daily routine. We hope that this will be an enjoyable experience for all passengers during Eid Al Fitr.

Many businesses in the region have also welcomed the news, as the increased number of flights is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy. The hospitality industry, in particular, is expected to benefit from the surge in demand for travel during the festive period. Other sectors such as retail, entertainment, and transportation are also anticipated to see an uptick in business due to the increased number of travelers in the country. Additionally, hotels will have more occupancy levels, thus helping them to recoup last year’s losses. Companies should make use of this opportunity by offering exciting promotions and activities for tourists and travelers during this time.

The UAE government has put in place a range of measures to ensure that travelers remain safe and healthy while visiting the country. These include stringent health protocols, contact tracing, and mandatory quarantine protocols for those coming from other countries.
