Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulatory body for the healthcare sector in the Emirate, has announced that Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) have been designated as Centres of Excellence for stroke.

Additionally, other medical centers equipped with 24-hour emergency departments and essential stroke services will be recognized as Stroke Ready centers.

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City have been granted the status of Centres of Excellence for stroke in Abu Dhabi. This prestigious designation is a testament to their ability to deliver exceptional levels of stroke care. Both facilities have dedicated multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) consisting of licensed and trained professionals specializing in various disciplines related to cerebrovascular and neurological diseases.
