Abu Dhabi Finance Week to Take Place in Partnership with 25 Key Entities

Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the international financial center of the UAE’s capital, unveiled a lineup of 25 prominent UAE entities and global corporations as partners committed to supporting the upcoming Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW), a flagship financial event series.

Scheduled to run from November 27th to 30th, 2023, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, ADFW is set to gather senior VIPs, representatives from government entities, leaders of global and regional organizations, and media. The event marked the introduction of world-class strategic and official partners for ADFW 2023.

For its second edition, ADFW has successfully attracted numerous key entities associated with this major event series, including support and theme partners, who were formally welcomed during the event with an official signing ceremony.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) will be the “Headline Partner” for the 2023 edition of ADFW, showcasing its continuous and strategic support for this major global event. ADDED is joined by other leading Abu Dhabi entities, serving as strategic and official partners, including Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company (ADQ), Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), Abu Dhabi Exchange (ADX), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), Mubadala, Etihad Airways, and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). The list also includes a group of international brands such as eToro, HSBC Bank, Huawei, Banco BTG Actual, Mastercard, and Circle.

Salem Mohammed Al Darei, CEO of ADGM Authority, expressed excitement about welcoming a stellar group of financial experts and professionals from the UAE, the MENA region, and around the world. He emphasized how ADFW serves as a strategic platform to advance Abu Dhabi’s economic agenda, fostering a collective effort to strengthen the emirate’s position as a financial hub. Al Darei expressed gratitude to the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development for joining as Headline Partners for ADFW and also appreciated the official, strategic, media, and other partners for their contributions to achieving significant milestones for Abu Dhabi through ADFW.

Staged across five major events in November this year, ADFW 2023 is expected to host over 10,000 business leaders and more than 3,500 top financial firms, industry experts, policymakers, regulators, investors, and bankers from over 100 countries. These participants will collectively represent more than US$15 trillion in assets under management. Financial market leaders will gather to engage in in-depth conversations centered around the theme of “Investing in the Transition Era,” which will focus on the economic, technological, and energy transitions poised to shape the next decade of global finance and world economies.
