Safari Park, a Dubai Municipality initiative, spans 119 hectares of land. The park first opened to the public in December 2017 at the request of His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Vice President of the UAE.

Safari Park’s aim is to “inspire inspired action for sustainable wildlife.” It is a collection of distinct ecosystems designed to suit various habitats and is also home to a variety of species from around the world.

The Dubai Safari Park is also the largest park in the Arab region, attracting thousands of visitors each day. The Asian Village, African Village, Arabian Desert Safari, Adventure Valley, and Explorer Village are its five main attractions. The park can accommodate tourists who want to enjoy free-roaming areas, safari adventures, and a kid’s farm. Supporting their aim of providing inspiring, welcoming, recreational, and educational experiences in global sustainable conservation areas.

Dubai Safari Park Attractions:

  1. African Village – African Village exhibits the most exotic wildlife from Africa’s wide continent. This attraction provides a genuine flavor of African-inspired desert animals. The African Village, which is home to the world’s largest and smallest mammals, from African elephants to meerkats, is a must-see.
  2. Explore Village Safari – The most sought-after attraction at Dubai Safari Park is the ride within Explorer Village Safari. See the spectacular African wildlife while sitting safely in a luxury carriage, and conclude your journey with an Asian display. Hippos, giraffes, zebras, and cheetahs are just a few of the amazing animals you’ll see on this 35-40 minute trip. All villages inside the park, including the Explorer Village Safari, are accessible to Safari Journey package ticket holders.
  3. Asian Village – Asian Village is a jungle safari beware of the snake people! Chinese architecture and Asian characteristics, such as dragon-like shops and kiosks, are included. The Southern Cassowary is a big, flightless blackbird that has been designated as a ‘keystone species’ in Safari Park. It feeds on around 240 different varieties of fruit and drops the seed at tremendous lengths, resembling a giant gardener in the rainforest.
  4. Farm for Children – In addition to the animal safari and entertainment sites, Dubai Safari Park features a playground designed specifically for children. The kid’s farm is set up for small visitors to learn about farm animals like chickens, goats, lambs, and cows. Children can spend the day relaxing in nature while learning how to ride a pony or even milk a cow! The farm is surrounded by nature and is an excellent place for youngsters to learn about their surroundings.
