A distinguished delegation from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Iran, led by Dr. Alireza Zali, President of the institution, visited Thumbay Medicity in Ajman on May 25, 2023. Additionally, the delegation was presented with a video presentation that highlighted Thumbay Group’s extensive activities in medical education, healthcare, research, and upcoming expansion projects.

The MoU aims to explore avenues for bilateral cooperation, including web-based education, online learning platforms, research collaborations, sharing expertise in medical education strategies, discussing policy frameworks, and identifying mutual areas of interest for future cooperation.
The delegation also commended Gulf Medical University for its pioneering efforts in establishing a comprehensive Academic Health System, the first of its kind in the private sector in the region.
