The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has revealed its readiness to host the first-ever Gulf-Iraq Business Forum, scheduled for the 26th and 27th of September.
Themed “Partnership for a Promising Economic Future,” this event will take place under the esteemed patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The SCCI has reassured that comprehensive arrangements have been made to ensure the successful hosting of this significant forum, which marks the beginning of new economic, trade, and industrial ties between the GCC countries and Iraq. The forum is poised to unveil exceptional investment prospects during its sessions.
The inaugural Gulf-Iraq Business Forum is jointly organized by the Federation of GCC Chambers in collaboration with the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry, the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The GCC General Secretariat extends its support to this historic event.
With the participation of more than 350 influential figures representing Gulf and Iraqi governmental entities, major corporations, and investment funds, this forum promises to be a momentous occasion.
Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, underscored the strong ties between the Gulf Chambers and their Iraqi counterparts. He emphasized their mutual commitment to nurturing these connections and establishing optimal partnerships between the Gulf and Iraqi business communities.
Al Awadi highlighted that the upcoming forum presents a golden opportunity for fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the financial, business, and infrastructure sectors. It is expected to pave the way for significant investment prospects for all stakeholders involved.
The first Gulf-Iraq Business Forum will comprise five sessions that delve into investment, economic cooperation, and partnership-building. Prominent figures from the GCC General Secretariat, federations of Gulf and Iraqi chambers of commerce and industry, as well as government officials and business leaders, will participate in these discussions.
