From mesmerizing fireworks displays to family-friendly outings, the upcoming long weekend presents ample opportunities for creating lasting memories across the UAE.

Fireworks enthusiasts will be delighted as major venues throughout the emirates prepare for spectacular pyrotechnic shows. Dubai Parks and Resorts promises five consecutive nights of breathtaking displays from June 27 to July 1. Not to be outdone, Dubai Festival City Mall will showcase an immersive laser show on the second night of Eid, adding an extra touch of dazzle. Abu Dhabi’s Yas Bay will also join the celebration, treating visitors to nightly firework shows from June 28 to 30. Furthermore, Abu Dhabi Corniche, Al Mugheirah Bay, Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, Al Dhafra, and Hudayriyat Island will host their own sparkling displays.

To beat the summer heat, indoor attractions provide a welcome respite. IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai presents its Summerfest Mega Celebration from June 24 to September 30, featuring an Eid celebration until July 2. Visitors can enjoy a PUBG mobile experience, character parades, interactive dance routines, and capture memorable moments with resident dinosaurs such as Roaming Phoenix, Fairy Wings, and Mirror Man. In Abu Dhabi, children under 12 can enter theme parks on Yas Island, including Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and Yas Waterworld, for free throughout Eid and the entire summer season.

For sports enthusiasts, the UAE’s expansive event venues transform into vibrant arenas during the summer months. Abu Dhabi Summer Sports at ADNEC offers 25 indoor courts for a variety of major sports until August 12. Whether football or badminton, this is the ideal place to enhance your skills. Meanwhile, Dubai Sports World boasts 42 courts and offers practice sessions, sports training academies, and more. Basketball, cricket, padel, badminton, football, and tennis are just a few of the sports available for enthusiasts to indulge in.

Those seeking adventure can embark on an adrenaline-pumping experience at Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah. The world’s longest zipline, Jais Flight, spanning 2.83 kilometers, propels thrill-seekers through ravines, canyons, and jagged peaks at speeds of up to 160 km/h. For a slightly slower pace, the Jais Sky Tour offers six ziplines ranging from 337 meters to over 1 kilometer, providing magnificent views of the Hajar Mountains. Younger children can enjoy the toboggan-style Jais Sledder. Whichever option is chosen, a breathtaking experience is guaranteed.

Entertainment enthusiasts are in for a treat, as concerts abound during the Eid Al Adha weekend. Syrian actress Assala Nasri kicks off the festivities at the Al Ain Convention Centre on June 29, followed by Rabeh Sager, known for hits like “Ana Ahebbak” and “Lateman’an,” performing at the Etihad Arena the next day. In Dubai, a double bill awaits at the Coca-Cola Arena on July 1, featuring renowned artists Kadim Al Sahir and Hussein Al Jasmi. The following day, oud legend Mohamed Abdo takes the stage, offering a memorable performance for the entire family. Comedy lovers can attend shows by Naveen Richard and Biswa Kalyan Rath, while Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe bring their humor to captivate audiences on July 3.
