Dubai, UAE – The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2023 is set to kick off tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with over 2,500 exhibiting companies from 100 countries expected to showcase their latest products and services in the travel and tourism industry.

The annual event, which runs from May 1 to May 4, is the region’s leading travel and tourism exhibition and attracts thousands of industry professionals, buyers, and media representatives from around the world.

This year’s edition of the ATM is expected to be even more significant, as the travel and tourism industry is gradually recovering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced many countries to close their borders and suspend travel for months.

The event will provide a platform for industry stakeholders to share ideas, network, and discuss the latest trends and innovations in the travel and tourism industry, as well as to explore new business opportunities and partnerships.

Some of the key topics that will be covered at the ATM 2023 include sustainable tourism, digital transformation, and the impact of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and virtual reality on the travel and tourism sector.

The event will also feature a number of keynote speakers and panel discussions, including representatives from major airlines, hotel chains, tour operators, and destination management companies.

One of the main highlights of this year’s ATM is the introduction of the “Arabian Travel Week”, a series of events and conferences that will take place in Dubai from May 1 to May 7, alongside the main exhibition.

The Arabian Travel Week will feature several co-located shows and events, including the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Arabia, the International Hotel Investment and Design Conference, and the Travel Forward Middle East.

The ILTM Arabia, which is dedicated to the luxury travel segment, will bring together over 100 buyers from the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia with more than 200 international luxury travel suppliers. The conference will focus on topics such as experiential travel, wellness, and sustainability in the luxury travel market.

The International Hotel Investment and Design Conference will bring together hotel owners, developers, investors, and designers to discuss the latest trends and challenges in hotel investment and development, as well as to explore new business opportunities in the Middle East and beyond.

The Travel Forward Middle East, which is part of the global Travel Forward series, will focus on how technology is transforming the travel and tourism industry and how businesses can leverage emerging technologies to enhance their competitiveness and customer experience.

Commenting on the upcoming ATM 2023, Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director at the event’s organizer, Reed Exhibitions Middle East, said: “We are delighted to be back with the Arabian Travel Market after a challenging period for the industry. We have taken all the necessary measures to ensure a safe and successful event, and we are confident that this year’s edition will be even more significant than before.”

Curtis added: “The Arabian Travel Week is a testament to our commitment to provide the best possible experience for our attendees and to create a platform for knowledge-sharing and networking across the travel and tourism industry.”

The ATM 2023 is expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors from over 150 countries, generating significant business opportunities for exhibitors and promoting Dubai and the UAE as a leading travel and tourism destination in the region and the world.
