Netflix has just announced its latest cinematic acquisition, the upcoming French film “Jeanne du Barry” directed by none other than Mawenn, starring the one and only Johnny Depp. The film tells the captivating tale of a young woman who, through her intelligence and charm, manages to climb the social ladder and win the affection of King Louis XV. The film is also known as “La Favorite” and promises to be Mawenn’s most ambitious production to date.
