The South Korean beauty brand has announced that the Academy Award-winning actress is its latest global ambassador, expanding her already impressive resume of representing top fashion houses such as Chanel (since 2013) and Pringle (since 2009), and serving as a source of inspiration for the Belgian designer Haider Ackermann.

Tilda Swinton, the Academy Award-winning actress known for her stunning performances in films like “Michael Clayton,” “We Need to Talk About Kevin,” and “Doctor Strange,” has been announced as the new face of the South Korean luxury skincare brand Sulwhasoo.

Swinton, who is known for her ethereal beauty and striking features, will be featured in a new ad campaign for Sulwhasoo’s “First Care Activating Serum EX,” a cult-favorite product that promises to boost skin’s radiance and hydration.

In the ad campaign, Swinton is seen with minimal makeup, her skin glowing and luminous as she discusses the importance of self-care and taking care of one’s skin.

“I have been interested in skin care and beauty for as long as I can remember, and Sulwhasoo’s focus on traditional Korean ingredients and holistic approach to beauty really resonates with me,” Swinton said in a statement. “I am thrilled to be a part of this campaign and to be working with such an innovative and respected brand.”

Sulwhasoo is known for its use of traditional Korean herbs and ingredients, including ginseng, red pine, and plum blossom extract. The brand’s products are designed to not only improve the look and feel of the skin, but also to promote overall health and wellness.

“We are thrilled to have Tilda Swinton as the new face of Sulwhasoo,” said Joohee Lee, the global brand president of Sulwhasoo. “Her timeless beauty and commitment to self-care make her the perfect ambassador for our brand, and we look forward to working with her to spread the word about the importance of taking care of one’s skin.”

Swinton is no stranger to the world of fashion and beauty, having previously served as the face of Chanel and Pringle of Scotland, among other brands. She is known for her avant-garde fashion sense and her willingness to take risks on the red carpet.

With her stunning looks and commitment to self-care and wellness, Swinton is the perfect choice to represent Sulwhasoo and its focus on traditional Korean ingredients and holistic beauty.
