Remote Work on Fridays During Ramadan for Dubai Government Employees
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has recently announced that Dubai Government employees will be allowed to work remotely on Fridays during the Holy Month of Ramadan. This decision came as a response to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) also stated that the working hours during Ramadan will be reduced to 9:00 am to 14:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Fridays, except for employees whose work requires them to be on a separate shift schedule.
